I’ve been under a lot of stress lately and at night I seem to be borderlining anxiety attacks and my klonapin doesn’t help that much. I usually only have to take .25 mg a day but lately I’ve been having to take like .75 mg. It keeps me from a full blown anxiety attack but I still feel god awful. What are some ways to calm myself down? What are some good stress relieving techniques. I stress really hard about everything and my college classes are really stressing me out lately. It has to be bad for my body and I would just like some advice on how to alleviate this suffering. Much appreciated.

Its purpose is to indicate the presence of danger. It allows the individual to generate means and resources to resolve stressful situations. A phobia is a disorder characterized by intense fear, persistent, excessive and irrational objects or specific situations, usually accompanied by increased anxiety and a pronounced tendency to avoid them. 2] Can excessive heat cause me to have a panic attack? What can trigger a panic attack is the allocation or subjective interpretation to be given to the symptoms caused by heat. For example If I believe the burden and excessive perspiration, caused by the intense heat, are unsafe or that my life is in danger, it is possible to activate a panic attack. Not by heat itself, but by thinking about it. 3] Is it true that meditation works as a panic attack treatment? Meditation is one of the many resources that can be applied to relieve anxiety. Relaxation exercises: For example, training in diaphragmatic breathing, muscle relaxation or tension, are also effective in decreasing the discomfort of anxiety. It is important to assess which resources are most appropriate for everyone, because for some people certain exercises can enhance physical and cognitive symptoms of anxiety. 4] How do I overcome phobias? The treatment that has shown greater effectiveness in helping people overcome …

I have agoraphobia and social anxiety disorder/phobia. I get panic attacks sometimes but not that badly. However in the past month I keep getting panic attacks often, out of the blue, rather I am comfortable at home or in public… And the last time it happened, I started feeling like I wanted to hurt myself. But after I calmed down, the feelings of wanting to hurt myself went away too. I am on zoloft currently but I am thinking about talking to my doctor about giving me a medicine I can take DURING a panic/anxiety attack to calm me down? I feel like I may end up having to go to a mental hospital soon because of the thoughts of wanting to hurt myself.

Is there such a thing as medicine like this, and if so, names? Anyone who has the same problem, advice please? thanks. I’m 19 also, I’ve been on zoloft for a few months for agoraphobia/depression.
